This was our first time making the 35 mile trek out to Suffolk to check out this course which I had heard was a nice track. It was a nice day for January...45 degrees, little wind and moderate amount of golfers on the course. This is a very scenic golf course with no houses as it winds it way along the Lake Meade resevoir and a farily busy stretch of railroad that was of no distraction to our game but interesting to watch between shots. All four of us enjoyed the course very much and plan to go back to check it out in prime condition this summer. The greens took a beating with the heat and above average rain last year so they are undergoing some healing but it's obvious that they should be in better shape by spring.
